- Find a Reflexologist
In my first pregnancy, by week 27 my legs, ankles and feet were so swollen that I couldn’t wear any of my normal shoes and walking was very uncomfortable. This pregnancy, I’ve been having reflexology treatments every fortnight and as well as the reduction in the aches and pains of pregnancy (and from carrying around my 2 year old), at week 30 I have no swelling in my legs, ankles and feet. My shoes still fit and walking is no problem!
Since May 2006 when I started my reflexology therapies, I have been developing a continous improvement in my health as an asthmatic for more than 30 years.
Improvements that are changing my life in many different ways. Now I do not rely on my inhalers to feel good, since I just feel great.
I have not taken those Blue (Ventolin), Orange (Flixotide) and Green (Serevent) inhalers for the past 4 months. Witnesses of this wonderful change in my life style are my family and friends who they cans see how well I am feeling now. It has been a wonderful trip, I am very pleased and grateful.
At a demonstration 12 months ago I volunteered as a patient. I arrived in a very stressed state suffering among other things osteoarthritis in my back.
It was very difficult to walk and at times I was confined to a wheel chair. After one treatment I was delighted to find I could almost stand up straight again and most of the pain had gone from my back.
Over the period of treatment the nerve pain I have suffered in my feet and legs from Diabetes has eased. Thanks to the continuing treatment ,life has become enjoyable once more.
I find Reflexology not just relaxing and de-stressing but also revitalizing.
It's an excellent tune-up for my whole body – keeping everything in balance, realigning where necessary and nudging the immune system to do a bit of self-healing.
I can feel the benefits of each session for many days afterwards.
I would like to express my sincere thanks for the work my reflexologist has done on my 'inner body system' with reflexology. I have regular reflexology treatments and find it works for me in a way that makes me feel relaxed as well as more vibrant. Carry on the good work.
I have been having reflexology treatments monthly for 2 years now.
I have trouble with sciatic and pain in my legs and pain in my lower left arm. The reflexology I find it helps me to relax before going for my doctor’s visits and can walk better with less pain in my legs.
I can do my own housework and cleaning, and going to meet my 9 year old twins after school, and even attend their functions.
My boys and I attend church regularly and have faith in God. My Reflexologist and I have hugs before and after Reflexology treatments and have lots of laughs.
I am glad my doctor recommended me to Reflexology.
I came to reflexology with encouragement from my wife.
I had a motorbike accident 15 years ago and head injuries. I suffer from memory loss and poor circulation. I get a boost every time I have a reflexology treatment, and sleep better.
Reflexology has been a big help since my two major surgeries last year.
Reflexology is very beneficial and I look forward to it every 3-4 weeks on our lifestyle block.
I love reflexology as I don’t like taking medication with all the side effects.
I really believe reflexology has given me more energy as I am working more on the lifestyle block since my husband’s surgeries. We want to keep active and enjoy our outings away with the caravan club.
I look forward to our 3-4 weekly reflexology sessions and would recommend it to everyone
After falling pregnant with my second child I suffered from extreme nausea and morning sickness, lasting all day.
Most days I was unable to get out of bed. I could hardly function and was extremely dehydrated.
I had tried most therapies but to no avail. When I went to see my reflexologist she suggested an intensive course of Reflexology.
I saw her every day for 7 days and then after that on a weekly basis.
Because of this I was slowly able to regain some normality to my life. I started to eat and drink small amounts and was able to hold this down. Although the sickness did not completely go I was able to get back to life and caring form my 3 year old, which made all the difference to me.
My reflexologist was kind and professional and I always felt relaxed while receiving treatments.
She was also very thorough with her consultations and note taking. Her treatments are gentle and non invasive, her studio was always warm and inviting.
I would highly recommend Reflexology to anyone who found any discomfort with their pregnancy.
I took my four year old daughter for a reflexology treatment when she was suffering from constipation. We saw the reflexologist in the morning and by evening my daughter had been to the toilet four times!
Now every time we see our reflexologist in passing, my daughter says she has sore feet and needs to go back as she liked it so much!
My reflexologist brought joy back into my life.
She is inspirational, intuitive with such healing hands and heart to match.
When I first went to see my reflexologist, my feet and therefore my life were in more than a bit of a mess, with no sensation in my right leg from almost the knee down to my toes.
This probably resulted from nerve damage during a second hip replacement 8 years previously. I was so weary of stumbling and dragging that leg around.
The expert and initial consultation and subsequent treatments and guidance have given me back almost all normal sensation.
I am walking so much better and of course feel on top of the world. It has helped me to get other areas of my life in order. I always had a good life, but now it is great.
People are constantly commenting on how well I am walking and on how well I look.
The consistent care and attention to detail and the genuine interest in the well being of the patient is such a blessing.
I have been seeing a reflexologist regularly for treatment for the last couple of years.
At all times I have found my reflexologist highly professional and competent. She has a lovely gentle caring manner and is always compassionate and wise.
I would highly recommend reflexology treatments for anyone who has an ailment of the body, mind or spirit. My reflexology sessions are always totally blissful and I often fall into a deep and peaceful sleep during a treatment. My reflexologist has helped me weather a very stressful time in my life.
Reflexology has helped me to maintain my balance, energy and ability to sleep well despite the stress.
Female hormonal problems have also responded very well to reflexology.
My introduction to reflexology came as part of my journey after a diagnosis of colon cancer.
My first session was prior to any medical treatment, at a time when, severely anaemic, my condition left me exhausted.
The lift in energy levels was immediate after that first session. As I went on through my course of chemotherapy and radiotherapy I continued with reflexology sessions.
They helped enormously with the nausea and tiredness I was experiencing. Overall it led to an increased sense of wellbeing at this very troubled time.
When I finished my course of chemotherapy and radiotherapy I entered a period of recovery prior to surgery. I had only six weeks to gain as much strength as possible.
At this time reflexology sessions, while balancing my body’s energies and clearing blockages, enabled me to be as well prepared as I could be both physically and mentally for the surgeries and healing that lay ahead.
I continued with reflexology after my surgeries, even while recovering in hospital. Now, looking back, I realise how important those sessions were for me.
Within 24 to 48 hours I never failed to feel deep benefits and improvement in issues troubling me at that time. Reflexology was an essential part of my recovery process.
